Steve purchased his first multi-family rental property in 1992, and has been busy in real estate ever since.
A licensed real estate professional, Steve specializes in investment, bank-owned, and distressed/undervalued properties -- and is also readily available to assist you with the more conventional purchases, sales, and listing needs of traditional real estate transactions.
Having owned many residential and income/investment properties over the past 18 years, Steve is an experienced real estate investor, who also enjoys constructing new projects as well as renovating old houses. He completed a beautiful oceanfront residential project in Australia, which he successfully sold in 2008, on which he was the developer/builder.
Steve also brings a corporate management background to his real estate practice, previously working as an operations director for a Fortune 100 global company, and later general-managing a custom homebuilder, and project-coordinating several real estate ventures (including 8-figure endeavors). Steve still joint-ventures an occasional project in Sarasota with local builders, and can offer his real estate clients the best referrals in this regard.
Superbly organized, Steve remains on top of all the details throughout a transaction. Extremely efficient and detailed, Steve’s excellent follow-up and resolution skills make sure the deal stays on track, and astutely ensures the best results are obtained for his clients.
On a personal note, Steve is a graduate of the University of Colorado, is married to a CPA, and sits as a board director on a Siesta Key beachfront community and a Washington D.C. non-profit organization. Steve and his wife have previously lived in Australia, Sweden, Germany, and the UK on work assignments. Steve has completed his Series 63/65 exams, and in his spare time you will find him looking at a piece of real estate or renovating a project somewhere around town.
Steve is also a New York Times Best-Selling author, and donates a percentage of any fee he receives to charity.
